LovE@rth Watercolour Exhibition 2015
With the theme "Love, Earth and Art", the 2015 exhibition of IWS Indonesia is dedicated towards promoting watercolour painting in Indonesia and the art of watercolor in general by building communication between artist from many countries.
A total of 150 artworks from IWS Indonesia members, international and national artists will be on display.
The exhibition will be supported by programs such as artist talks, watercolor workshops for the public and plein air / painting on the spot contests which can be followed by the public.
IWS Philippines will be represented by Wilfredo Calderon, Warlito Brion Ballaran and Karen Sioson
Exhibition Schedules and Venues
The exhibition will be held in two cities:
The first exhibition will be in Jakarta (the capital of Indonesia) at the Galeri Nasional Indonesia (Indonesia National Gallery) and will run from September 3 to September 14, 2015.
The second exhibition will be held in Denpasar - Bali located in Bentara Budaya Bali and will run from October 24 to November 2, 2015. Bentara Budaya Bali is a non-profit cultural institution of Kompas Gramedia group, the largest newspaper published in Indonesia.
An Invitation to Attend the Festival
International Watercolour Society-Indonesia proudly invites water-colour artists from all over the world to join the LovE@rth Journey. This unforgetable experience will run from the 24th to the 27th of October, 2015. See the beauty of Bali and enjoy its unique culture. Gain first hand experience in capturing the moments by joining the plein air activity in the scenic spots of Ubud and Sanur. Get a chance to be part of our new world record of more than 20 metres long painting. We have many interesting programs planned.
